I’m pretty sure we can all agree that it wasn’t too long ago that we almost split our vocal chords yelling “Happy New Year!!” and then we went to sleep, woke up the next day and boom! 2017 is just three months away from being “so last year”. Perhaps time no longer flies… it teleports!
Yeah, it really does.
Time should be the next Marvel or DC superhero with a catchphrase like “Time, I literally won’t wait around for you”. If this happens, please be sure to remind the directors to give us a mention in the end credits.
If you feel like you have wasted all of 2017, cheer up… three months is enough time to do something to your home that you would be proud of even in 2018…especially with what we have locked and loaded in this post.
And if you have done quite a lot this year (Congratulations, by the way, you’re better at life than most of us are), this post still offers you one more thing you can do this year to cap 2017 off in grand style.
Think about it.
At this point of the year, we all know “winter is coming”… at least the HBO Series “Game of Thrones” has told us that one too many times (Yeah! designing homes is not the only thing we love doing…we love movies too). But before winter gets here, we have fall and it starts today.
Perhaps one of the coolest things about fall is that it doesn’t exactly have the fashion and design limitations that summer and winter come with. For instance, you can’t wear a fur coat in the summer except you are a huge fan of the heat rashes. On the other hand, you can’t wear a bikini out in the blistering cold during winter except of course you would like to experience just how bad it feels to have the flu.
With fall, there is ample room to try your hands on an array of styles, designs, and trends. And it’s not just with clothes and fashion but also in interior décor as well.
Here on Homemagez.com, we know a thing or two about clothes and being fashionable but what we do know a whole lot more about is interior décor (and movies… but mostly interior decor). And since fall begins today, we figured it would be the perfect time to introduce our readers to some home design trends they can implement in their homes’ interior or exterior décor in the fall of 2017.
This post is quite lengthy but it would be worth your time. If you are not a big fan of reading lengthy articles, here’s a quick tip to help you spot the perfect inspiration for your home this fall.
Simply skim through the images you see on this post and if you find one that makes you go “Oh that’s nice!” then you read our description, suggestions and most likely click the link in it to a more detailed post here on our platform that would give you even more interior designs that look just like the one.
Yeah, we know… you don’t really like to click links.
You would have to move away from this page or open another page and that really sucks. But we are offering compensation by ensuring that every link you click is absolutely worth it and not just redirecting you to some unnecessary stuff that helps us build traffic while pissing you off.
With each link you click, you already have a design style that catches your fancy and you are directed to a page with a plethora of similar options to choose from!
Let’s get this party started.
If you are looking to make a décor statement this fall… one that draws attention away from everything else within your living room to such a dramatic degree that your guests are blown away… then consider introducing some large abstract art that enshrouds your living room in some mystery.
It’s basically the mother of all smokescreens.
With a large living room art, nothing else in your entire décor is noticed as we can guarantee your guest would spend hours on end trying to figure out what the painter was thinking when they painted this and would most likely go home still thinking about it.
This interior décor is the perfect inspiration for your living room this season with clear window panes letting sunlight in on the upholstery with colors similar to the chosen hues on the rather obvious abstract painting. A wooden center table stands out in the living room in both color and style. Redefine your living room this fall with ideas from this eclectic living room.
Speaking of redefining homes…
Here’s how we remodeled an old tiny studio apartment into a luxury apartment as well as how much it cost to do it. The transformation is unreal… we promise.
This fall, you should try keeping your interior décor as simple as ABC. This picture perfect workspace combines vintage elements emboldened by the geometric design of the wall. If you already find the simple, smooth walls that you have had all year round boring, and you don’t fancy wallpapers much, try painting your wall with geometrical patterns this fall.
Whatever your interior décor style is, switching out from the regular walls to this show-stopping design this fall is guaranteed to completely transform your living space, lighten your mood or perhaps even highlight a vintage element—and the best part is, you don’t have to break the bank or embark on an entire remodeling process.
This fall, here’s a geometric design that’s just perfect for anyone looking to switch styles!

This flamingo wallpaper design is best for a home design with less vibrant shades as it would provide the much-needed air of sophistication within an otherwise simplistic home.
This awesome flamingo trend is an absolute must-have this fall.
